AC3 Accreditations
AC3 is the only company in California to hold both SIT-2 and CA-231 accreditations
California Corporation founded in 1989. Owned by Scott McLeod since 1994
California Contractors License #647234 with the following designations:
Category A: General Engineering
Category C-10: Electrical
Category C-61/D-21: Machinery and Pumps
Cal/OSHA accreditation SIT-2 to perform inspection, maintenance, and repair of powered platforms used for exterior building maintenance. This credential also applies to Building Maintenance Units (BMU), fall arrest anchor systems, and all other building façade access systems. AC3 has Cal/OSHA Approved Surveyors and qualified technicians that are members of Millwright Local 102 labor union.
Cal/OSHA accreditation CA-231 to perform annual inspections and quadrennial proof load testing on mobile cranes, bridge cranes, and gantry cranes. This credential also applies to overhead crane systems, ship to shore container cranes, RTG cranes, and all other material handling devices. AC3 has Cal/OSHA approved Crane Surveyors that perform inspection and testing work on thousands of cranes per year.
ASNT Level III approved Structural Inspection program. AC3 performs OEM required structural inspection or Non Destructive Testing (NDT) on ship to shore container cranes, RTG cranes, and other material handling devices. Work is performed by ASNT Level II inspectors utilizing visual, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing methods.

No other company provides this range of services to the façade access and crane industries. AC3 is the longest standing Scaffold Inspection and Test (SIT) agency in the industry. AC3's CA-231 Crane Certification accreditation has been valid and active for a consecutive 35+ years.
